First of all see whether you have a standard Google account. Confirm whether the account is only used for business purpose not for your personal purpose if you don’t have any specific account for business you can create one. Next step is to see whether you have business profile on Google or not Business profile is different from Google My business accounts as business profile sometimes already exist you don’t need to create them. But the issue is that business owner has no control over this business profile until and unless he or she claims this business through Google my business account. You can search your business profile by simply searching on Google maps if your business appears with address it means that it already existed on business profile. Business profile usually already existed because any people or computer can add this on Google. If you don’t have business profile click on the option of add a missing place and provide the information. Next step is you need to claim for your business profile that is available on Google. Once you claimed you will receive a verification option you can verify through mail as most local business verify via mail but you can verify via phone call, email, search console or video recording.
